Hobbies: A pictorial.

After spending most of my life referring to writing as a hobby, I can now say that it is my profession.

So, instead of writing all about my hobbies, I'm going to show them to you.   A photographic representation of my free time.  Including the fact I dabble (emphasis on the dab) in photography.

There's cooking things like Strawberry Rhubarb pie.

Strawberry Rhubarb Pie

Collecting Buddha figurines.  The fat happy ones.  The first is from Mexico and is filled with beans and coins.  The second is from China Town in NYC.  A gift from Emily.

Attending poetry readings, like this one by Nikki Giovanni.  What a woman!

Playing with my pets.  I thought I'd spare you the all the sweetness and just show you my oldest lady Allie bathing in the sun.

Mostly I collect beaded and stoned jewelry.  Sometimes I make it.  I wish I could say I made this one.
New necklace

Cards.  Lucy, the Jack Russel belonging to Dave there, almost beat us all.
Playing cards.

My friend Vicki and I played around with starting a webcomic.
Screw Him

And the hobby I am participating in most lately now that it's finally spring.  Gardening.  Specifically, tomatoes.

Jackie, I enjoyed your post and your photoes are great. My favorite one is Allie!

Your tomatoes are so big! Mine are still tiny, though also in containers.

Jackie, This isn't really a comment on this post, but I had to tell you how much I like your Cherry Soup blog. I have been reading all of the entries, and I can't wait to try some of your recipes.
